"Still useful, but wow, so many junk listings now"
Indeed used to feel way more helpful to me, but lately it’s kind of a mess. I’ll search for one type of job and end up clicking on posts that are either super old, look fake, or don’t even match the title. It’s like going to the grocery store for bread and somehow ending up in the tire aisle, which is how my brain feels after scrolling for 20 minutes. A lot of listings also leave out pay info, which is frustrating because that’s usually one of the first things people want to know. I still find useful jobs on there sometimes, but you really have to dig through a lot of junk to get to anything decent

"Resume privacy feels easy to control"
I’ve found it really easy to manage who can see my resume, and it feels private enough for me so far. Has anyone else had any issues with their resume visibility settings, or has it been smooth for you too?

"The results just don't really match"
I searched for jobs and the results were mostly unrelated, like really really off from what I was looking for. It felt like I had to keep digging through random listings just to find anything close

"Most of the jobs seemed legit"
I applied to two jobs, and both turned out to be real listings. Because of that, I felt like the site was trustworthy overall.

"Support was alright, I guess"
Support was okay overall. They took a little while to get back to me, which was kind of annoying, but after a few messages they did end up fixing the issue. Something about it felt a bit slow, but it worked out in the end.

"Pretty great response rate, but not totally perfect"
I was kind of shocked by how many employers actually replied, it felt like a small miracle compared to what I expected. Most got back to me, which was awesome, but a few just vanished into the void and never responded at all. So overall, really good experience, just not flawless.

"The job alerts are worth keeping on"
I mainly use Indeed for the email alerts, they’re usually close to what I’m looking for. I know some people might get annoyed by the random listings that don’t match perfectly, and yeah, I get a few of those too. But for me, it still makes sense to keep them on because it saves me from having to constantly check for new jobs myself. Most days the alerts are relevant enough to be helpful.

"Account settings are way more confusing than they should be"
I tried to update my Indeed account settings it turned into a whole thing. In my head, it should’ve been simple: turn off the emails, save the settings, done. But the emails kept coming anyway, and every time I went looking for the right option, I felt like I was guessing my way through the menus. I kept thinking, “Okay, this setting probably controls it,” but nope. Support wasn’t much better, just the usual basic responses that didn’t really solve anything. I just wanted to manage my account without spending forever clicking around. Frustrating.

"Easy enough, but not perfect"
indeed is easy to use for applying to jobs, at least most of the time. I like when it lets you apply with just a few clicks, because that part is simple and fast. But then sometimes it sends you off to another website and you end up putting in the same information again, which is kind of annoying feeling. Overall it’s not bad, just not always as smooth as I want it to be.

"Can get expensive quickly"
I posted a job and the costs started adding up faster than I expected. I did get some applicants, but not enough solid ones to make it feel worth the price in my case. I could see it being more worthwhile for harder-to-fill roles or bigger hiring needs, but for what I was looking for, it felt a bit too pricey

"This app really tests my patience"
Using Indeed feels like a small battle every time. Sometimes it works fine, but then the app suddenly freezes like it has given up on life, and my filters don’t always save. The website is a little easier to deal with, but it still feels cluttered and messy. I’ve even lost track of jobs I already applied to, which is frustrating when you’re trying to stay organized. It gets the job done sometimes, but it could be so much smoother...

Indeed Q&A

I recieved 2 job offers from people wanting me to be their personal assistant and both happen to be out of town for a few weeks. and want me to start before they get back and will be sending me checks in the mail. is this legit or is this a spam?

I made my employers account did 2 free postings but when i tried doing the 3-4th posting it started asking for fees per posting, how to continue doing free posting on indeed

I want to know why indeed has stopped crawling our website. someone told me that 1- indeed is no longer crawling agency sites due to the volume of jobs posted; and 2 - that we are an agency and so indeed will only let us use their site via a sponsored/paid posting. until 30 days ago, we were able to see our postings regularly on indeed. have they stopped crawling agency job boards?

Indeed disabled my account and wont give me reasons why just an email to say it will not be considered or resonded to. i have contacted a few people who have had the same issues

Is there any way of getting any feedback from employers using when applying for jobs straight from the indeed app. i've been applying for a long time now and not once have i heard anything back, although i've been very well suited to the jobs i apply for. i'd like to know where i'm going wrong to not be seen for an interview, and there is no other way to track any progress. i'm going to stop using indeed unless i know that my application is actually getting through and seen. i have no faith in this site now.
