"Just want to say my son finally found a…"
Just want to say my son finally found a job, albeit it wasn't through Indeed. Nonetheless, Indeed gave him the opportunity/experience to apply for jobs, fine tune the accompanying letters and adapt his CV at a very fast pace, and to be fair, through them, he got about 8/10 interviews. Which is all good, as this is interview experience. It can be quite demotivating when compaines don't let you know if you have the job or just dismiss your CV outright. Esp at a time when you are feeling ultra fed-up and worried about finding another. All I can say to people looking for jobs is just apply, apply, apply. Apply for anything/everything you can adapt your CV to, and which best fits the job. We learnt very early this is a numbers game, its not personal, it feels like it, by God it does, but it's not. There were days, in the beginning, when I could have openly wept for my son (severely autistic, albeit not letting prospective employers know) it destroyed him to go to interviews, he was terrified. And yet they didn't even let him know if he had the job, that really really hurts. I soon learnt it was important he take the punches (as bad as they are). Its a bad rse, competitive world out there, but you've got to be in it to win. Stay motivated everyone, and good luck. x

"Indeed needs to hold companies accountabble"
Indeed really needs to set a time limit for these companies to not select , interview or hire . i lost my job 2/17 2/18 I started immediately applying to jobs advertised on indeed i applied to over 159 jobs and I heard from at the most 10. I was finally hired but these companies give no feedback or let us know they even received our resumes . also the assessment tests need to be more to the actual jobs and not just basic tests

"Abysmal"
Abysmal. I found a position and employer I was really, really interested in, who asked me to partake in a one-way interview consisting of two questions.

I immediately shot them, submitted them, was told by Indeed that they were successfully submitted, only to receive an email the next day saying the employer is waiting on part two (the second question) -- which I had already submitted.

So I reshot and resubmitted the second video, which sucked because I had nailed the initial take and did it off the cuff (aka it wasn't scripted or memorized), only for Indeed to email me AGAIN and tell me that the employer is waiting on BOTH QUESTIONS.

Like, how buggy and useless is your platform that submitting interview questions is like wack-a-mole? Embarrassing.

Do better, Indeed.

"Appalling Shameful Communications and Greed"
We have been dealing with Indeed for more than a decade. Great historic relationship until the ground rules were changed. We placed tens of thousands of jobs in that time. Our group of companies has paid indeed many tens of thousands of pounds in that time.

Suddenly out of nowhere despite our many years of advertising, our account was suspended. No warning, no contact. Appalling abuse of power over small companies!

After many chases we discovered some 'quality check' people from America have the power to suspend accounts. When they grind the recruitment process to a halt they leave it for the customer to find out and chase them. This damages businesses. Appalling.

You cant get a reply or resolution. It can take weeks to resolve. Appalling customer service!

Indeed is uncaring about different customer needs and have set up the site to charge companies the same for advertising a 2-hour a week jobs and a £50k/annum job. This communist approach is hugely detrimental to smaller businesses. Appalling greed demonstrated.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

"Shocking"
Daughter just 16 offered 2 job interviews at new restaurants in Aberdeen. Three weeks later no response from either the restaurants?? `No idea if she got any job or not and no contact at all from Indeed with any feedback. For one of these interview she did a shift of unpaid work. Shocking behaviour Indeed. What kind of experience does that show her? She keeps hoping she will hear something.

"Indeed For employers"
Posted a legitimate job opportunity. Got lots of interest in two days. Account suspended for no reason wasting many hours of effort with no appeals process. Terms of service seem to have been met entirely.

"Indeed just declines all of my answers…"
Indeed just declines all of my answers with in 1 second. Honestly 1 second. From submitting this to clicking next page it was declined.
See below for Q&A that indeed asked me and declined instantly. Waste of my time even using indeed to review companies.

Question: How is feedback from management delivered at (hidden)?
Your answer: It isn't. You can't speak to anyone.

Question: What is covered by the life insurance at (hidden)?
Your answer: I don't think (hidden) offers life insurance at (hidden).

You give indeed your honest answers to their questions and nope it's not good enough. It never is good enough. I honestly think indeed is so bad to use.

"Never once did I get an interview"
Never once did I get an interview, let alone a job, from that horrible site. Waste of time for job hunters. Avoid it.

"Indeed continued to leak my phone…"
Indeed continued to leak my phone number publicly to scam recruiters after I deleted it multiple times and verified that it was not visible publicly. I signed up with my public email address, but because I use my direct email for job applications they pasted my private email address visible to the website and I started to get spam there and the system would not allow me to keep my information private. When I closed my account, they asked for feedback and one of the options was that "I don't like my information being posted publicly" Why would they manage their website this way if they are aware people are leaving because of this? I'm still getting scam and spam messages constantly. AVOID THIS WEBSITE. Also so many of the jobs are fake data fishing traps, this website is not safe to use and it would be a full time job reporting the scammers. Everyone beware.

"Set up a campaign to hire staff"
Set up a campaign to hire staff, most of the applicants already had jobs and had forgotten to delete their account, and the other half were unqualified when I specifically said the applicants needed a specific qualification!!! Their was only one out of 16 applicants that was eligible but they charged me £400! I want my money back, it’s theft.

"Many scam posts who sell your info"
Over the last few years I have applied for positions and come across many, and I mean many that are scammers. I recently submitted to some that seemed legit. I am now being bombarded with texts, saying I posted my resume online. I have explicitly indicated Not Searchable (not available to a company unless I apply with them). Now, my phone number, address, etc. is out there for the world and I don’t know where!

One of the scammers I caught this round, I reported to the company whose name they are posing to be. They were not happy. Some of these people want to sell your information and some want what info they can get to try to get credit fraudulently.

My personal experience has shown me it is dangerous to use this site. I truly feel bad for Indeed as they are trying to do business ethically, but there needs to be more vetting on these companies who post jobs in there. Flat out.

****Answer to Indeed - Yes, that is what I am saying. I applied to positions that I believed were real. That is how they got my resume. The very next day all those texts started coming in. I realize it isn’t you being fraudulent. But Indeed needs to vet these companies better. Make sure the job matches what the company does, make sure the address, phone, and email match their website or even have a website. Please just protect your customers better. Don’t rely on us to keep reporting a suspicious company. By that time, people have already been affected.

Peace

"I started to place an advert with you…"
I started to place an advert with you yesterday, however, until the end of the process I did not realise that you would fill in boxes with your own information, which makes the advert totally untrue. Also, it says "for free" and, again, at the end it stated it was chargeable. Therefore, I did not complete the process and do not want anything to do with Indeed, however, I have been sent an applicant today via email (totally inappropriate I might add). Can't get hold of a telephone number to make sure I am not sent any other applicants. Thank you.

"Shameful company: Parent trying to recruit a support person for her autistic son"
I am recruiting for a school support position for my autistic son. I had signed up for what I thought was a sponsored job and set the monthly limit for $150.

I was billed twice that amount for a charge, I still don't understand because the company's whole site is misleading and is designed to have you pay for services you don't know you've subscribed to.

After contacting support, I was reimbursed half of the amount. I then tried posting an "unsponsored" job as I no longer wanted to give my money to the company, but still needed to find a support person for my son.

Unbeknown to me, I was signed up for a "pay per candidate" option where I was supposed to reject candidates within 72 hours or be charged. I was then charged $600!

I contacted them again and they said because they had reimbursed me for the transaction prior, there was nothing they can do and laid out the rules for the program I did not willfully sign up for.

Same game larger price tag.

This company is NOT transparent. They mislead people into incurring charges they do not consciously sign up for.

In my situation, the $600 they deducted should go towards my son's care, not a greedy corporation. Shameful!

"Indeed suspended my account with no reason"
I have been using indeed for about 5 months now.
Yesterday out of the blue I received a message that my account is suspended. No explanation.
I log a complaint, next thing they ask for company registration and tax forms. Fair enough, but only AFTER 5 months??
I sent the documents, next i get an email that my company is “unsuitable”.
No explanation again.
Terrible horrible unprofessional time wasting

Is there any way of getting any feedback from employers using when applying for jobs straight from the indeed app. i've been applying for a long time now and not once have i heard anything back, although i've been very well suited to the jobs i apply for. i'd like to know where i'm going wrong to not be seen for an interview, and there is no other way to track any progress. i'm going to stop using indeed unless i know that my application is actually getting through and seen. i have no faith in this site now.
